Aaron Smith serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Principle Power with overall responsibility for Business Development, Strategy, and Public Affairs.

He has been with the company since 2016 and previously served as Vice President, Strategy and Commercial.

Prior to joining Principle Power, Aaron was an Economist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where he directed a portfolio of work designed to identify high-value R&D opportunities for land-based and offshore wind technologies, providing the U.S. Department of Energy with strategic decision support.

Aaron graduated with honors from the University of Vermont with degrees in economics and political science.  

Aaron Smith

Greg Campbell-Smith is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE with 38 years of experience in manufacturing and execution of complex capital offshore projects.

Greg built his experience in FMCG and aerospace industries before moving into global offshore O&G and renewable projects. Over the past 18 years, he specialised in Offshore Construction and Subsea Engineering. Greg joined Principle Power in 2022 from First Subsea, where he was a Director responsible for the transition of the business from predominately O&G into renewables for both fixed and floating technologies, bringing innovative and cost-effective products into the market.

Gregory Campbell-Smith

Thomas Marty joined Principle Power in 2018. He was the Project Manager for the Kincardine Project (the world's largest floating offshore wind farm). After successfully completing this project, he now serves as Tender Manager for the French market.

Over the past 20 years, Thomas built his career in large construction projects in the energy industry, focusing on project management and operations. From Work Package Manager with the largest offshore oil & gas contractors to Chief Operating Officer for a vertical-axis wind turbine start-up company, Thomas has developed a wide range of competencies and experiences.

Thomas has a background in Mechanical Engineering.

Thomas Marty

Ao Zhang is the Business Development Manager at Principle Power, responsible for driving growth in the APAC region, including key markets such as Korea, Taiwan, the United States, and emerging floating wind markets like Australia and the Philippines. Ao joined Principle Power in 2019 with a Master degree in Public Policy from UC Berkeley.

Before joining Principle Power, Ao had worked as a business reporter and then news radio anchor for years with a strong passion for combating climate change and analyzing energy policy.

Ko Hosokawa serves as the Senior Business Development Manager and Head of Country for Japan.

Before joining Principle Power, Ko held a key General Management role at Seajacks Japan LLC. His professional journey also covered several divisions and top management positions at Chiyoda Corporation. Throughout the years he earned in-depth knowledge in a wide array of fields within the Renewable Energy sector, encompassing Technical, Environmental, Commercial, and Strategic Business Development.

Ko has a background in Civil, Foundation, and Geotechnical Engineering, both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Waseda University.
