Principle Power consolidates over fifteen years of in-depth, state-of-the-art knowledge of the floating offshore wind sector with experience from related industries, including renewables and oil & gas.

Antoine is a passionate advocate for ocean renewable energy and offshore floating wind turbines.

He has 10+ years of experience in the global offshore floating wind sector at Principle Power and has held a few leadership roles in Engineering and Business Development. His technical expertise includes the design and supply of floating foundations for the offshore wind industry.

Antoine is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley under the Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture program. He was the chair of the Northern California Section of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) in 2017-2018.

Antoine Peiffer

In her current role, Clara is working on the definition of the company’s O&M business and market strategy, while ensuring Principle Power is recognized as a valuable service provider for O&M Services in the floating wind space. In addition, she is responsible for structuring and negotiating commercial contracts and working with R&D and O&M teams on the simplification of offshore logistics and technology improvements to achieve cost reductions.

Prior to joining Principle Power, Clara gained experience in the oil & gas industry, developing methods for subsea installation projects and offshore IMR projects in the North Sea. She also acted as Field Engineer for the cable lay and trenching of inter-array and export cables of several UK-based offshore wind projects.

Fausta Amaral has over 20 years of experience leading Organizational Development and Transformation.

Fausta developed and implemented several major projects in the human resources area within multinational companies like Hewlett Packard and Pepsico. 

She is passionate about sustainability and innovation and motivated by the challenge of building unique teams and businesses.

Greg Campbell-Smith is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE with 38 years of experience in manufacturing and execution of complex capital offshore projects.

Greg built his experience in FMCG and aerospace industries before moving into global offshore O&G and renewable projects. Over the past 18 years, he specialised in Offshore Construction and Subsea Engineering. Greg joined Principle Power in 2022 from First Subsea, where he was a Director responsible for the transition of the business from predominately O&G into renewables for both fixed and floating technologies, bringing innovative and cost-effective products into the market.

Gregory Campbell-Smith

João joined Principle Power in 2025 as Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for guiding the company’s overall direction through commercial, engineering, and technology leadership.

With more than 20 years of experience the renewable energy sector, João has held roles that developed expertise from development to operation of large-scale wind farms in several international markets.

Before joining Principle Power, he served as Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Voltalia, where he led large teams in Portugal Brazil and France and oversaw the company’s global technology strategy across wind, solar, hydro, storage and biomass projects. He has also managed the integration of Wind Turbine SCADA systems across multiple sites during his time at Vestas, and held senior positions at RePower and Senvion, managing the design, planning, and deployment of utility-scale wind farms.

João holds a triple degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnic of Porto - School of Engineering (ISEP). This background provides knowledge in electrical systems, power engineering and applied energy technologies that contribute to informed decisions across engineering and operations.

João Amaral

Paula, an experienced senior financial executive, joined Principle Power in 2020.

Previously, Paula was Director of Finance, People and Shared Services for Consulgal Group, an engineering project management, O&M, and environmental consultancy services organization with a strong international presence. 

Previously, Paula spent over 20 years at Audatex/Solera Inc., a global technology company, where she served as Regional CFO for Iberia.

Paula Rosa

Pedro has over 25 years of experience in HSE and Quality in a wide range of international companies, more than 10 of which were in large Energy Projects across Europe and Africa, working with major contractors.

He brings years of experience working for well-established industries, such as the Automotive and the Oil and Gas sectors, as well as a deep-rooted passion for the Environment, which he gained through his background working as an Environmental Manager in manufacturing.

Before joining Principle Power, Pedro was a Senior Quality Manager at McDermott in the United Kingdom, where he worked on multiple FEEDs and served as the Project Quality Manager for a SURF execution project.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has also completed studies in Quality Engineering, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health and Safety.

Pedro Baptista

Pierre serves as Vice President of Engineering Projects at Principle Power, since joining the company in 2024.

With over 20 years of experience in subsea engineering, Pierre has worked on medium to large FEED and EPCI projects across Europe and Africa, managing teams across four continents. Now, at Principle Power, he ensures that projects meet the highest quality standards, and client requirements. His responsibilities include delivering projects within budget and schedules, and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders, both internally and externally.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC) in France and a Master of Science in Offshore and Ocean Technology from Cranfield University, UK.

Pierre Buisson

Ralph Sahrmann has 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer and international corporate counsel.

A 1981 graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia, he was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1982 and joined the litigation department of Lang Michener Lawrence & Shaw LLP, Vancouver.

He became a partner of the firm in 1987 and in 1994 was appointed Chair of its litigation group. His clients included Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, Diamond Fields Inc., shareholders of Bre-X Resources Inc., and other clients with high-stakes corporate, securities, and financial institution litigation.


In 1997 he left the firm to join StarCapital Corp., a Bahamas-based telecommunications company, as its General Counsel and Managing Director. 

Since 2002, Ralph has been engaged as international legal counsel or General Counsel for other private and public companies, including Finavera Renewables Inc. (Vancouver, listed TSXV) and Continental Gas Storage BV (The Hague, NL).

Seth Price is a licensed professional engineer with a diverse career in offshore energy sectors spanning more than a decade.

Seth brings a passion for the floating offshore wind industry after starting his career in offshore oil & gas engineering services. He brings about extensive project experience in floating hull and topside systems spanning from conceptual studies to detail design and fabrication management.

Seth has managed diverse and multi-disciplinary engineering teams across a multitude of geographic regions.

Seth has a Bachelors' in Civil Engineering from Lafayette College and a Masters' in Structural Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is energized by strategic technology development and cultivating a happy and intellectually curious workplace.
