Principle Power Welcomes Investors to the WindFloat Atlantic Project and Announces Shell as a Technology Partner

Berkeley, CA (USA), November 16, 2015 – Principle Power, Inc. (Principle Power) is pleased to welcome new equity investors for the WindFloat Atlantic Project in Portugal. EDP Renewables, Mitsubishi Corp., Chiyoda Corp., Engie, and Repsol announced today the creation of a consortium to implement the project.

Additionally, Principle Power has signed a cooperation agreement with Shell for the continued development of floating offshore wind technology. The agreement leverages the collective expertise of Principle Power, in the design of floating offshore wind foundations, and Shell, in the deployment of floating offshore oil and gas platforms worldwide.
